The hotelMaria Cristina was inaugurated in 1986, but the history of the building dates back to the 15th century when the Hospital de San Lázaro was founded, later it became the María Cristina College for orphans of the Infantry, called "Huérfanos Cristinos" after the queen mother gave her name María Cristina, of which the  beautiful "Apse" subsists.

In the XV century Mudejar apse is located ourApse Room, with a vaulted ceiling, which gives it a special atmosphere that is difficult to beat.

The Hotel It has been completely renovated in 2022,If you stay at our hotel you will find comfortable rooms, with modern furniture and all the comforts and details necessary for a pleasant stay.

we have de covered parkinginside the building (paid and subject to availability)  so the rooms can be accessed by elevator, which allows the hotel to be a fully accessible building for people with reduced mobility, we also have spacious rooms, do not hesitate to consult with our staff.


we are situated just 100 meters from the Puerta de Bisagraand the Puerta de Alfonso XV, entrances to the wall of Toledo, a World Heritage City.

We are located in the nerve center of the city, next to the hotel is the Tavera Museum, the bullring, the Toledo Courts and the Puerta de Bisagra.


From the hotel you canvisit the city on footOr if you prefer, you can take a tourist or urban bus at the stop next to the hotel, and in 5 minutes you will arrive at theZocodover Square, to the Palacio de Congresos de Toledo and the Alcázar, being located at one point in the historic center of the city of Toledo.
